Why did you become a personal trainer?
I became a Personal Trainer to teach others how to enjoy and exercise properly. I love to teach, and with my medical background I wanted to guide clients in modifying their lifestyles so they could improve the quality of their lives.

How does your experience as a Registered Nurse compliment your role as a Personal Trainer?
Working in a critical care setting over the last 10 years has taught me so much about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. I have gained valuable tools in assessing peoples risk for impending illnesses. This attribute allows me to advise my clients on their preventative health care.

What competitive experiences have you accomplished and how do they help you in training your clientele?
Over the last 20 years I have competed in running, cycling, and triathlons at a top amateur level. I’ve learned a lot about sports nutrition, rehabilitation from injury, weight training and periodizing peak performance. This combination enables me to properly set up programs to best suit the needs of my clients.
